Insurance-Covered Massage in Portland
Your health plan may already cover massage. I'm Corey Blue, LMT #28443, and at Blue Renew Massage Therapy I accept Kaiser Permanente, Providence, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and any plan under the American Specialty Health (ASH) network. I verify your coverage before your first session and bill the insurance company myself. You never file a claim. Text or call me with your plan details and I'll check your massage benefit before you book anything: 503.912.4130.

Is Massage Covered by Insurance?
Often, yes. Many Kaiser, Providence, BCBS, and ASH-network plans include massage benefits that go unused because using them feels complicated. That's the part I handle. Blue Renew is listed in Kaiser Permanente's Alternative Care Provider Directory and the Providence Health Plan provider directory, so if you carry one of those plans, there's a real chance you're already paying for massage benefits you've never used.

How Verification Works
1
Reach out.
Call or text 503.912.4130 and share your plan details.
2
I verify.
I confirm your massage coverage with the insurer before anything is booked, including any cost to you, so there are no surprise bills.
3
You book.
Once coverage is confirmed, we schedule your session and I bill the insurance company directly. No claims paperwork on your end.
Do I Need a Referral?
Depends on the plan. Some plans require a referral or cap visits per year. I sort this out during coverage verification, before you book, so you'll know exactly where you stand.
What Does It Cost With Insurance?
Your plan sets your cost: copays, coinsurance, and visit limits vary from plan to plan. That's exactly why I confirm your coverage and any cost to you up front. If it turns out your plan doesn't cover massage, cash rates are $100 for 60 minutes and $140 for 90 minutes (as of July 2026).

Send your plan details to 503.912.4130 and I'll verify your massage benefit before you book. An insurance-billed session is the same massage as a cash session: Swedish work, deep pressure where you need it, and stretching, blended to what your body needs that day in a private East Portland studio.
